National Trade Policy 2017 – 2032

The National Trade Policy sets a coherent policy framework designed to provide clear policy linkages, with a clear vision “to guide PNG towards an internationally competitive export-driven economy that is built on and aided by an expanding and efficient domestic market”. This vision will be achieved through clearer policy mission as basis for unifying and coordinating actions across all stakeholders both domestically and internationally.
