‘Strengthen Pacific Inter-Regional and International Trade (SPIRIT).’
At the inaugural Highlands Regional Workshop at Hotel Kimininga in Mt Hagen, we’re set to delve into the intricacies of how NTO actively supports local farmers and small to medium enterprises (SMEs). Throughout the workshop, participants will gain comprehensive insights into NTO’s strategies for fostering market access, ensuring a level playing field, and enhancing economic opportunities for the Highlands regions.
Our agenda for the day includes in-depth discussions on the organizational structure of NTO, shedding light on the various divisions and their functions. Additionally, we’ll provide a detailed overview of NTO Policy 2017-2032, elucidating how these frameworks aim to create an enabling environment for sustainable growth and development within the agricultural and business sectors.
As we embark on this journey together, we anticipate robust conversations and valuable interactions that will contribute to the collective understanding of NTO’s pivotal role in shaping the economic landscape of the Highlands regions and PNG as a whole at local and international levels.
