Celebrating 51 Years of Independence at the National Trade Office!
On September 15, 2026, the management and staff of the National Trade Office (NTO) gathered in the NTO conference room to commemorate Papua New Guinea’s 51st Independence Anniversary.
Dressed proudly in national colors and traditional attire, the team came together to reflect on our nation’s journey, our institutional milestones, and the vital role trade plays in driving economic growth and building global partnerships.
The celebrations featured a beautiful commemorative cake reflecting this year’s theme of unity: “One People, One Nation, One Future.”
As we look toward the future, the National Trade Office remains deeply committed to advancing PNG’s economic prosperity and fostering a stronger, more resilient trade environment for all.
