The National Trade Office (NTO) has commenced a four-day National Trade Policy (NTP) and Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) Validation Lock-up, bringing together Senior Management and Trade Policy Officers to undertake the final review and validation of these important national policy documents.
The lock-up provides an opportunity to carefully assess the policy framework, strengthen implementation strategies, and ensure the documents accurately reflect Papua New Guinea’s trade priorities and development aspirations.
Once finalized, the National Trade Policy and Strategic Implementation Plan will be submitted to the National Executive Council (NEC) for consideration and approval, marking a significant milestone towards strengthening PNG’s trade policy framework and supporting sustainable economic growth.
